이 곡은 네 명의 피아니스트를 위한 "두 대의 피아노 네 손을 위한 피아노 앙상블 Christmas Overture for 2 pianos 8 hands"이다.
클래식 작곡가와 유럽 민요선율 및 팝 작곡가 등 다양한 작곡가들의 작품 총 19곡을 피아노 앙상블에 어울리게 편곡하여 메들리로 구성하였다.
